 I'm Lauren Sims, an artist and author based in Brisbane, QLD, Australia.

From early 2019, I have displayed my artworks on my Facebook and Instagram pages, 'Lauren Sims Art', and 'laurensimsart', respectively. I then expanded to this blog site in 2021. In 2022, I published the first of a series of picture books, called Smooch Kitten, which can now be ordered online from the InHouse Publishing online bookstore.

Having suffered extensively from mental health issues, I have entered the Recovered Futures Queensland's exhibition for several years in a row. In 2024, I sold my highest price artwork to date at $500AUD.

As of January 2024, I made the resolution to post two book review blogs: ViewsForKids that reviews children's books, and TuesReviews that reviews books for adults. I have been posting rarely, so my new resolution is to post more consistently.... No promises until January 1, 2025!
